How Engagements work

Engagements arise through alignment, trust, and direct invitation rather than open calls or speculative proposals.

My work most often takes shape through culturally grounded public art commissions (direct commissions only), community organising that supports self-determination through Connecting with Country frameworks, community advocacy, governance and board roles, guest lecturing and conference presentations, and ongoing creative and cultural practice.

I undertake this work alongside my role as sole carer for my mother, who is living with Motor Neurone Disease. As a result, I have limited capacity and a necessarily measured pace for the foreseeable future. At present, I am primarily completing larger commission works that have been on my radar for some time, rather than taking on new or speculative projects.

Engagements that respect Indigenous sovereignty, cultural protocols, reciprocity, and current capacity and timing considerations are more likely to be prioritised.
